Akshay Says, he Dubbed in Transformers for My Son

Akshay Kumar, recently, said that he has lent his voice for the Hindi version of the massive and successful franchise film Transformers: Dark Of The Moon (for one of the film's key characters, 'Optimus Prime') out of goodwill, it was hard to believe.
However, the action hero turned comic star is at peace with himself that at least he is in some way getting connected to an action, super hero film. Undoubtedly, one of the original and trained action stars, Akshay, currently is the only one who is not making the most at the time when the audience is lapping up action films, whereas all his colleagues and contemporaries are busy playing action heroes or super heroes – Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir, Ajay, Saif..you name it.
But we will certainly see Akshay in an action film next year, after a gap of five years – in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Rowdy Rathore, with Sonakshi Sinha, to be directed by Prabhu Deva. "I deliberately did not take up action films for last few years as my son Aarav was growing up and now I am doing Transformers because of my son. He is a huge Transformers fan and it was he who got me hooked on to the Transformers movies," said Akshay. A thoughtful father one must say.
